dreamscapes

Japan happened to me. I travelled without expectations. Perceiving with my eyes and heart seeking silence versus intense noise, withdrawing from the crowded streets, feeling lost, arriving on the 50th floor to find a Zen garden and stepping stones, young women as colorful butterflies in the grey concrete city, mysterious shadows in the bamboo forest, dreaming about Mount Fuji. The visible longing for tranquility and beauty of nature, to escape the urban hectic. People dream of another world. My journey to Japan became an internal journey in the vast landscape of dreams.
