Paris - Berlin

Dreams, nightmares, young adult memories, and the sudden recognition of spaces and atmospheres as an adult woman. It happened in the concrete basements of the Palais de Tokyo in Paris, and later that same year at the memorial site for Jewish war victims in Berlin.

These encounters stirred something deep and familiar. They inspired me to paint my emotions onto the photographs I had taken in Paris and Berlin — layering memory, fear, tenderness and intuition.

It became a small, intimate series of personal works, but one of profound meaning.
