Jalan Jalan literally means walking, strolling, moving freely through a city and through the layers of memory hidden within it. In collaboration with this festival, Pulchri is exhibiting work by five artists who have a connection to Indonesia: Patricia Steur, Jan Radersma, Hanny Heetman, Mariska Karto, and Maryse Kok.
The international exhibition of paintings by artists from the Netherlands and Ireland, developed in collaboration with the Embassy of Ireland in the Netherlands, Hamilton Gallery in Sligo, Ireland and Pulchri Studio.
The 200 works mark a significant cultural exchange between the artistic communities of the Netherlands and Ireland, uniting voices from two countries around a shared theme of loss, memory and resilience.

A warm welcome to the Amsterdam artists’ association Arti et Amicitiae. From Friday, June 19, through Sunday, July 26, 2026, the association will present its newest members in UPDATE II. The exhibition brings together a wide range of disciplines and showcases the richness and diversity of contemporary visual art.

Welcome! I am delighted to announce my solo exhibition | BEYOND THE IMAGE | at Pulchri Studio. The exhibition officially opens on 24 January at 3 p.m. New work will be on display: 'Recollections in a Japanese lacquer box' and paintings, along with photographs inspired by my travels in Southeast Asia. Especially for this occasion, I am releasing two new Art Cahiers: new reality 03 | On his own Pu-Yi emperor in a fading dynasty + new reality 04 | Lost in time. Both cahiers contain photographs of my art projects, printed on art paper.

De spirituele atmosfeer aan de voet van Mount Fuji en de klassieke Japanse studio-fotografie bepaalden mede de verstilling van het werk".

The Art Based Learning workshop on 16-02-2025 was attended with great enthusiasm and openness. The exhibitions; I touched you with a flower, Adya & Otto and Abstract art of women then and now, proved to be a great source of inspiration for the participants. By entering into a personal dialogue with one work of art, new insights were gained.
Many thanks to the Stedelijk Museum Schiedam for the warm welcome and use of the studio to share experiences afterwards.

In honor of their accession, the artists who became members of Pulchri in 2024 present their work in a joint exhibition. 21-12-2024 to 20-01-2025, Pulchri Studio, The Hague. Pulchri Studio is an artist association and gallery that has existed since 1847 but still feels very young. Every month there are changing exhibitions of, among others, artist members of Pulchri Studio who exhibit contemporary art in the halls of this beautiful building.
